Your installer will demonstrate the correct depth according to the shade sails you’ve ordered – usually around 900mm-1200mm into the ground.
How much wind can a shade sail withstand?
When installed and secured properly, shade sails are able to withstand strong bursts of wind. Of course, in extreme weather conditions, the fixtures may be affected.
How long do shade sails last?
If maintained properly – and not damaged by extreme weather or falling branches – your shade sails should last upwards of 8-10 years.
What is shade cloth made out of?
Our sails are made out of woven polyester, a sturdy knitted material.
